 Sad day for me today.  Five years ago I got the news that my son, my first born, died of a massive heart attack.  No words are sufficient so I won't even try.

Tuesday Treat - January 30, 2024

 Sorry, I am running a little late.  I have been sick (again) and went to the doctor this morning and picked up some prescriptions.  I slept a lot Sunday and slept almost all day yesterday and last night.  Feeling a little better, but we will see.  It was snowing a bit this morning when we were out but the temps are now about freezing, so it has turned to rain.  Just another dreary day.

Christmas Gift - December 4, 2023

 Good morning all!  It's going to be a busy day.  Carpet cleaners come to do the house and we will be moving all the breakable items off tables etc.  My back is already killing me from all the work yesterday, but I did get a good night's sleep.  Yay!  I hope you enjoy this little gift.  Leave me a note and let me know where you are from and if you celebrate Christmas or a different holiday.

Tuesday Treat - October 31, 2023

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN all!  Not sure about where you live, but here in Ohio, trick or treat is not on Halloween.  We had ours last Thursday, October 24th, in our area.  I could understand if they moved it to a weekend so the kids don't have to go to school the next day, but Thursday?  Someone said maybe so it doesn't interfere with sports or other school activities.  I never did understand it.  Do you celebrate Halloween where you live?  Do the kids trick or treat on a different day?

Tuesday Treat - October 24, 2023

Good afternoon peeps.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  I am posting this early (Monday morning) as I have lots to do today and don't want to forget to post it.  The weather is turning cold here in Ohio and we have a freeze warning for the next couple of days.  We had several dreary, rainy days but today is sunny so that is a plus!  My arthritis is really bad on the cold, damp days.  I had some time this weekend so got a little ahead of the game so I don't have to rush to get something out for Tuesday.  Today I have a group of things for you.  Hope you like them and can use them.  ENJOY!

Tuesday Treat - October 17, 2023

 Good morning everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  It rained mostly all weekend but the grass and plants are happy!  It is another dreary day today but a good day for a nap.  LOL.

Do any of you play computer games?  I love to play Angry Birds and Gummy Drop.  I play lots of computer games, and have for years enjoyed them, but these two are my current favorites.  I play the Angry Birds Friends tournaments against my hubby, and play Gummy Drop on my iPad.  I've been playing Gummy Drop for almost two years at least every night before I go to sleep.  It is a fun, very challenging game.  Just a kid at heart, I guess.

Tuesday Treat - May 16, 2023

 YAY!!  Our internet is back up!  We went for almost 3 full days without internet.  This means our computers couldn't connect, our Echo Shows and Echo Dot were not working.  I couldn't play on my iPad. No Netflix or Amazon Prime. Even our regular TV was wonky!  We don't realize how much we rely on all our devices!  Anyway, they came out first thing this morning and replaced fibre optic cards, boxes and all the things that make it work and everything seems to be back online and working fine.  Happy, happy, happy.

Christmas Gift - December 18, 2022

 Ahhh, a sign of relief.  The cards are in the mail!  Yay!  I still have to send out my Christmas Card emails but I still have a few days.  I normally do a Christmas newsletter, but just started on that.  It is hard when you are hermits and don't go out or do much anymore.  I've been doing it for years now and it is so fun to go back and read the diary of years gone by.  We just got back from grocery/prescriptions pick up so I can relax and go watch a good movie.
