Spent the morning in the ER. Called an ambulance at 1:30 am for terrible stomach pain and vomiting (I actually thought I might be having a heart attack). and then tests, tests, tests. I am home now and headed to bed as soon as my daughter comes with my prescription. Not sure when I will get this (tomorrow's gift) posted on Facebook, but here it is now. ENJOY!
Well, ho-ho-ho. I am just not in the Christmas spirit. We don't put up a tree anymore but our SonInLaw gets our big wreath from the basement to hang out on the front of the house. We also have two small trees he puts for us on either side of the front door. And a small ceramic tree my SIL made for us decades ago. And, of course, our nativity scene, BUT, none of that is up yet. I've spent the past two days going up and down into the basement going thru files to find a legal document I desperately need by Monday. My back is killing me!!

Well, Thanksgiving is over and we are headed to Christmas. It was a busy week. All our children were in town and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with great food and so many memories. The kids talked about when they were little and funny things they did and wonderful memories they had.

I've got a bunch more odds and ends to give you. I have to admit, I love creating Christmas stuff! AND, I actually starting scrapping yesterday. I got one and a half layouts done! LOL. It's a beginning, anyway.

Has anyone seen a good movie lately? We watched the new Netflix movie, "Don't Look Up" and it was so stupid, I can't believe we stuck with it until the end. I am tired of Christmas movies. I want a good mystery or action movie; something that keeps me in suspense. Or even a feel-good movie. The last really good movie we saw was Finch, with Tom Hanks (love him). Tau wasn't bad. Oh, and Unforgiveable with Sandra Bullock was good. Also looking for a good series to binge watch.

Well, the year is almost over. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I was hoping for a white Christmas but all we got was rain! Our granddaughter brought over Christmas dinner and we have lots of leftovers, No cooking for a while! Yay!! We spent the day watching Christmas movies and playing games..
Soon the daily gifts will be over for the year. You will start to get the leftovers these next few days. I have lots of odds and ends that hopefully you can use. I like to mix and match and rarely use just one kit for a layout. I really enjoy creating designs to give away. Not so much the quality control, selecting, sorting, renaming, packaging, uploading, posting to the blog, posting to FB etc. that goes along with it all. It's too time consuming. Soon, I will have to get back to scrapbooking .. LOL.

It's been a busy day. I worked all day making my Christmas cards. I don't send out many as our tradition is to send our Christmas cards via email and make a donation to the homeless shelter instead, but there are some with Christmas gifts and family newsletters that need to be mailed. The outside is the same for all, but the wording is different for each. I am about done for today. I was going to make a pork loin for dinner, but I am too tired to cook a big meal, so we are going to have home made turkey soup and a salad. Tomorrow is laundry day and working on Christmas cards again. Hopefully, I can get them all finished.

Happy Birthday to me! I am 74 today (oh gosh, did I say that out loud?!) Despite severe arthritis pain which limits my mobility, I am doing well. Except for my grandmother, who was in her 80's when she died, I have lived to be older than any family member. Anyway, Happy Birthday to me. It will be quiet as we are still staying away from everyone. My hubby is going to make me one of my favorite dishes --Posole, a mexican dish we discovered while living in New Mexico, which is usually made during the holidays. I currently live in Ohio. I would love to know where you all are. If you have time, just leave me a comment with your city, state or country. A longer note would be great, but just your general location would be great too.
