Tuesday Treat - March 19, 2024

 I was thinking it is about time to start with the Spring designs, but it is SNOWING!!  On Thursday, we had a tornado go through just south of us, missing family by about 4 miles, but it sure did a lot of damage to some nearby towns.  Awful devastation.  I was just happy we didn't have to go down to the basement.  Going up and down the stairs is just too much for us anymore.  But it is tornado season now, so we will have to stay alert.  Hope y'all are staying safe!

Tuesday Treat - February 6, 2024

 Here we are, already in February!  In one week, my hubby will turn 99.  Yes, you read that right -- 99!!  Although he has slowed down a bit (no more than me!), he is still amazing.  He helps around the house - emptying the dishwasher, putting out the garbage, etc.  We play computer games together.  He is an amazing man.

Tuesday Treat - January 30, 2024

 Sorry, I am running a little late.  I have been sick (again) and went to the doctor this morning and picked up some prescriptions.  I slept a lot Sunday and slept almost all day yesterday and last night.  Feeling a little better, but we will see.  It was snowing a bit this morning when we were out but the temps are now about freezing, so it has turned to rain.  Just another dreary day.

Tuesday Treat - January 23, 2024

 Today, my son, my first born, would have been 57 years old.  He died in 2019 of a massive heart attack shortly after his 52nd birthday.  I miss him every day.  He was a kind, thoughtful soul.  No parent should have to outlive their children.

Tuesday Treat - January 9, 2024

 Happy New Year (again) everyone!  Hope you are all doing well and enjoying life.  I debated whether I wanted to continue Tuesday Treats, but finally decided I would continue to do it for a while.  I enjoy creating and from the number of downloads, you must enjoy my designs.  For most of my early scrapbooking, I relied on the generosity of designers who shared their designs with me.  I am "paying it forward". 

We've been getting weather warnings about big winter storms coming through, but so far, other than a light dusting or two, no real snow.  I always look forward to the first big storm of the year.  But, of course, I am retired (for many, many years) and don't have to go out or drive in it if I don't want to.  But, in any case, still waiting.

Christmas Gift - December 30, 2023

 Good morning everyone!  Hope you are all doing well and settling down after all the commotion of Christmas, sorting through all your photos and reliving the special moments of the day.

Christmas Gift - December 29, 2023

 Sorry about yesterday.  Both hubby and I have been feeling tough all week.  He hardly slept at all Wednesday/Thursday night, so I didn't sleep either.  He finally got up at 8am and I fell asleep.  He came back to bed at 9:30 am and we slept until 1pm.  I am starting to feel a little better now but I am not 100 percent.  Hopefully we are through the worst of it.
