Tuesday Treat - June 29th

It's been another bad week!  I fell.  I use a walker (with wheels) and went into the laundry room with it.  I normally leave it in the hall but for some reason took it in with me.  When I went to turn around, the wheel hooked the laundry sorter and down we went.  I crashed into the dryer and hit the floor hard!  I could not get up.  Thankfully my SIL and daughter were home and came right over to help get me off the floor.  I still hurt like a Mac truck ran over me, but thank God I did not break anything (especially a hip!).  The good news is, my SIL brought over a wedge pillow for hubby to try and he has been sleeping in bed all week!!  Anyway, enough of my sob story ... LOL.  I have a quick page and some word art for your summer photos.  The word art is shown on the quick page for preview purposes only.  It is a separate file.  ENJOY!

Tuesday Treat - June 7th

Oh my goodness, it's been a whirlwind.  My hubby was admitted to the hospital on Thursday.  He was unable to drink or eat, choking on anything he tried to swallow.  The admitting doctor told him he would need a feeding tube.  Thankfully, we got a second opinion and another doctor did a procedure on his throat and he is doing fine!  He got to come home on Sunday.  But, you cannot imagine the tests!  An MRI, two x-rays, three CT scans, a urinalysis and tons of blood work.  The MRI showed he has a back fracture so we are still dealing with that.  I spent the night at the hospital, in a very uncomfortable recliner, on Thursday/Friday and my back is suffering for it now.  We had to borrow another walker (I use one in my daily life) as hubby is still a little unsteady on his feet.  But, thankfully, he is home with me!

I had these word art and the frame set aside for a situation such as this, so I would still have a treat for you.  So, here you go.  ENJOY!
