Tuesday Treat - August 31
Another month gone by and summer is almost over. We've had lots of storms this month but nothing serious. Our prayers are with those in the path of hurricane Ida. It is so awful!
Our daughter is in the hospital. She had hernia surgery a few weeks ago and has been running a fever. She was shaking so bad Saturday night and Sunday morning that her brother took her to the ER. She had a kidney transplant a few years ago and has an infection in that kidney. We are praying it is nothing too serious and that some antibiotics will take care of the problem. At least she is where the doctors can keep an eye on her.
Today is a bad day again. I didn't sleep hardly at all last night (the fact that I forgot to take my pills last night probably didn't help) and I don't function well if I don't get a good night's rest. I kept hubby up most of the night too, so he is not feeling well either. Ugh. Old age sucks.

Tuesday Treat - August 24th
Hello all! Hope you are all doing OK. It's been a quiet week. Had some trouble sleeping for a few nights (I think it was a new medication the doctor gave me), but I am back to normal now. I don't function well if I don't get my sleep! It's been hot with lots of rain; heavy rain and strong winds, although its only random storms that don't last long. What have you guys been watching on TV? Looking for a good series to binge watch. Started on "Lie to Me" and it's not too bad. Different at least. Tuesday Treat - August 17th
Ok, these are for you cat-lovers out there. I've never owned a cat as an adult, but had lots of them growing up. My dad was always rescuing animals! A basketful of kittens, a stray dog, it didn't matter, so we always had something in the house growing up. Anyway, hope you like them and can use them. ENJOY! p.s. Tuesday Treat - August 3rd
I am off to prepare dinner - some leftover chicken cooked in a chile cream sauce over rice. Then I will start season 2 of Mr. Mercedes (I am a huge Stephen King fan). Just a quickie for you today.
