Oh my goodness, it's been a whirlwind. My hubby was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. He was unable to drink or eat, choking on anything he tried to swallow. The admitting doctor told him he would need a feeding tube. Thankfully, we got a second opinion and another doctor did a procedure on his throat and he is doing fine! He got to come home on Sunday. But, you cannot imagine the tests! An MRI, two x-rays, three CT scans, a urinalysis and tons of blood work. The MRI showed he has a back fracture so we are still dealing with that. I spent the night at the hospital, in a very uncomfortable recliner, on Thursday/Friday and my back is suffering for it now. We had to borrow another walker (I use one in my daily life) as hubby is still a little unsteady on his feet. But, thankfully, he is home with me!
I had these word art and the frame set aside for a situation such as this, so I would still have a treat for you. So, here you go. ENJOY!

Thank you so much. Sorry to hear about the week you and your husband had. Thank goodness you found the right doctor to help him. Now that he is home, I hope both of your will feel better soon. Speedy Recovery.
Oh my goodness - thank heaven for the 2nd opinion. Take care of each other, as I know you will.
Thank goodness you got that second opinion! Feeding tubes are no fun. A dear friend of mine had to have one and it kept her alive for a while but at a terrible price. It sounds like it might have been just for a short time for your husband but still... much better not to got through that.
Oh, I'm so glad he didn't have to have a feeding tube! And, my goodness, a back fracture! No WONDER he was in pain, right?!?
Wow. I'm thankful he's home now.
Thank you for the goodies!
