Fall is definitely here! The temps have been cold, especially at night. I miss Florida! (except when there are hurricanes) but I do enjoy sleeping when it is cooler. If you are looking for a good movie, we really enjoyed LOU on Netflix. Anyway, here we go with some darker, autumn colors. I hope you ENJOY!
Today is my brother's birthday. There were 5 of us - three boys and two girls. Only my sister and I are left. Fred was the oldest. He was 11 years older than me. He used to joke that he thought Mom was giving him a basketball for Christmas but instead he got me! I was little when he joined the Navy. He lied about his age to get in. It was so exciting whenever he would come home on leave. He always brought something from some foreign, exotic land. When he got out, he became a policeman in Washington DC. Oh, the stories he would tell. He was a good man, a good husband, a good father and a great brother. I miss him. Happy Birthday Fred!

Fall is coming, I can tell. My bones really hurt with the weather changes. We've had the air conditioner on, but now the temps are down in the 50s. The forecast for later this week are in the mid 80s, so no sense in turning on the heat. I have a space heater in my office, so that is what I am using for now. Today I have a quickpage and a few matching ribbons. Soon I will revert to the darker autumn colors. I prefer the darker to the pastels for some reason. Anyway, here you go. ENJOY!
Well, I remembered this week. Now if I can only remember to publish this post tonight (Monday night) for tomorrow's treat. Today is our son's birthday, so he and our daughter are coming up for a visit. He has been working 7 days a week, so it is nice that he got his birthday off. Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend.
