Had a rough reaction to our second covid-19 shot on Wednesday. It started with a sore arm, but that is what happened after the first shot and it only lasted an hour, so we were not concerned. But the arm was still hurting when we went to bed and then it hit! I felt like a Mac truck hit me. We both had a low grade fever, aches and pains, headache, stomach ache -- basically like a bad case of the flu. I slept for 40 hours except to get up to take my medications and to have a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. When I finally did get out of bed, I did so with the intention of having a little breakfast and going back to bed, but as the day went on, I felt better. That night I had a low grade fever again and my arm was still pretty sore, But other than feeling a little tired, I feel ok now.

Oh, I'm so sorry you had such a bad reaction.
I've been approved to get it (I work in the school district) but I am not thinking I will. I've had covid already, and although it was awful, I don't want to get the vaccine yet. I want to wait until they are absolutely sure it's the best option. If they come up with a better one, I'd rather wait to get that. Hopefully, though, for you, that will be the end of it!
