Isn't it amazing!

I've been using the internet forever, but it still amazes me at how it has changed our lives. The other day a dear dear friend found me on Facebook! We lost touch years ago and I have been searching for her but her phone number is unlisted and I just didn't know where she had moved to. And she said she has been searching for me too. Now we have communicated and now that we live closer to each other, we will visit. Amazing.

So, are you all ready for Christmas? We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the kids and grandkids, and they helped us put up the Christmas decorations the following day. It is always so special when you have little ones to help with the tree. Hubby got all the outside decorations put up since then and we are all set. In the meantime, I have been working on a Christmas kit, but don't know if I will have time to finish it. We will see. I haven't been doing too much scrapping, but I am working on the pictures from Thanksgiving. I do have a couple of layouts I did with Sweet Made's newest kit, Frozen Fantasy.

We just had company from out of town, and our grandson's wedding is tomorrow (can't wait!!) and I still don't know what I am going to do with my hair! Sweet Summer FREEBIE

I can't believe summer is over. Yeah, I know, Fall doesn't officially start for a few more weeks, but, hey, it was COLD this morning. We need to get the blankets out and turn on the heat! I don't know about this global warming stuff, but we really had no Spring this year, and in late May when it finally warmed up, that is about as warm as it got all summer. We had a few hot days but nothing to sweat over. Anyway, I have a new freebie kit for you all. KimB over at DSO has a color challenge each month and her color palette was so beautiful this time, I just had to try it. I waited until the last minute, but, better late than never I always say. So, without further ado, here it is. Hope you like it.

We have been so busy lately that I really have not had time to blog. We have had visits from friends traveling in their RVs. We were so excited to see them. I read a quote somewhere that said ""The best part of life is when your family becomes your friends, and your friends become your family." That is so true. We have such wonderful friends. We are so blessed. Anyway, that is my excuse for not blogging more. I've also not scrapped much. I've been busy helping SweetMade with her new store, SweetMade, Inc. I did have time to make you a free desktop calendar for September using some of the wonderful CU items from SweetMade. You can snag it after you look at and scroll through my layouts ... LOL.

Happy Anniversary ...

...to me! Charlie and I have been married for 32 years. It is so hard to believe. It seems like just yesterday that we met ... and fell in love ... and got married. It has been like heaven. He is my best friend and my soulmate.

Too too Busy

Gosh, I can't believe we are already into June and summer is on the horizon. The grandkids are all out of school, our grandson has graduated 8th grade and will be in high school next year, our niece has graduated high school and will be going to college in the Fall, etc. etc. It seems like the last month just flew by.
